DAY 0

Pick up from Nouakchott airport and drive to your hotel.

DAY 1

Depart from Nouakchott and head towards Terjit Oasis, a picturesque desert oasis. Enjoy the natural pools and relax in the tranquil surroundings. Continue the journey to Mheirith, a small village known for its unique rock formations. Finally, arrive in Chinguetti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its historic libraries and ancient architecture.

Around Terjit Oasis

DAY 2

Explore Chinguetti's old town, including the Great Mosque of Chinguetti and the old libraries. Depart for Ouadane, another UNESCO World Heritage Site with well-preserved ancient architecture. Visit the Richat Structure, a striking geological formation often referred to as the "Eye of the Sahara". Return to Ouadane for an overnight stay.

DAY 3

Leave Ouadane and head to Atar, a town located at the gateway to the Adrar Plateau. Explore the Atar Market and discover local handcrafts and goods. Continue the journey to Choum, a desert village known as a stopover for the Iron Ore Train. If the train schedule aligns, take a ride on the Iron Ore Train in the evening.

DAY 4

Depart from Choum and travel to Nouadhibou, a coastal city known for its fishing industry and beautiful beaches. After arriving, take some rest at the hotel and then explore the city in the afternoon. Visit notable attractions like Cap Blanc, known for its white sand dunes and picturesque coastline.

DAY 5

Journey from Nouadhibou to Arkeiss in the Banc d'Arguin National Park. Spend the night in a camp in Arkeiss and enjoy the serene surroundings. Explore the national park the next day, taking part in birdwatching activities and discovering the diverse marine life.

DAY 6

Leave the Banc d'Arguin and return to Nouakchott, the capital city. Visit the fish market, where you can witness the bustling trade of fresh seafood. Explore the camel market, where you can observe and interact with these majestic animals. Visit the National Museum in Nouakchott to delve into Mauritania's history and culture.
 

Drive to the airport according to your come back flight.
